Medicina complementar e alternativa no Youtube: um estudio exploratório das comunidades de criadores de conteúdos

Resumo

O objetivo deste artigo é explorar as comunidades geradas no YouTube por criadores de conteúdos sobre Medicina Complementar e Alternativa (MCA). A partir da Teoria Gráfica, da Análise Visual de Redes e de uma ampla panorâmica do conteúdo de canais selecionados, as comunidades são examinadas para avaliar a sua força como comunidade em termos do seu grau de conexão e densidade. As comunidades fortes são compostas por indivíduos que difundem a palavra sobre o mesmo tópico e ponto de vista, agindo como um bloco. Os resultados mostraram que os criadores de conteúdos que promovem o MCA no YouTube têm comunidades pequenas e fracas; em contraste, os criadores de conteúdos relacionados com a divulgação científica, que são contra o MCA, construíram comunidades fortes.
