Economía de la cultura y de la creatividad

Como consecuencia del impacto económico de las industrias culturales y comunicacionales, y en la medida en que nos señalaban algunos estudios pioneros en Latinoamérica que estamos frente a un sector solvente y productivo, comenzó a ser examinada la economía de la cultura y la creación, según el marco conceptual que lo oriente, por organismos de cooperación multilateral, bilateral, regional y en diversos espacios nacionales y académicos. En el caso de los países latinoamericanos, los datos disponibles sugieren fuertemente que las industrias de contenido cultural y creativo constituyen un elemento importante de los sistemas económicos contemporáneos. En tal sentido, esta investigación tiene como objetivo contribuir a explorar el valor de la cultura desde una perspectiva comparativa teórica y su especifi cidad en el marco de la política y economía de la cultura.
