Abstract

This article studies one of the fundamental elements in video game design: a narrative structure that achieves user immersion in the proposed world-building. For this purpose, the Inka Madness game, developed in Peru on the theme of the Inca empire for the launching of Windows Phone, is taken as an example. The case presents a broad management of narrative structures with a projection to the development of various transmedia products, such as narrative fiction, animation, or comics.
