This article describes an academic project on design and universal accessibility in developing a gastronomic museum that seeks to promote culture, education, and recreation and offer the sensory experiences of Peruvian cuisine. The project responds to the accessibility needs of people with disabilities and considers the ages and physical and mental conditions of museum visitors. Form, space, and the activities for which the museum is designed privilege the awakening of the senses to guarantee a good experience for all and a meaningful approach to Peruvian culture. Different accessibility tools used to communicate the project and universal design allow everyone to be part of this gastronomic museum.
