Development opportunities in Pucusana Bay: Descriptive analysis and development proposal

This research look to identify development opportunities in Pucusana Bay, a coastal region far from an urban focus. Through a descriptive analysis, the main characteristics of the location are examined, in geographical, economic and social terms, identifying points for improvement, problems and opportunities. Geographically, this district highlights its landscape aesthetics, wide marine diversity and fishing infrastructure. Among the problems, it was identified that deficiencies in aspects such as urban planning and road, tourist and basic services infrastructure are still far from being adequate. Based on the analysis, various solutions are proposed that seek to enhance the development of the town through sustainable tourism and artisanal fishing.
