Abstract

The present work aims to improve the musical learning process of zampoña in children and adolescents by implementing a mobile application for iOS that incorporates gamification techniques to motivate and enrich students’ experience and recognizes, with high precision, the notes emitted by the musical instrument. The experiment results showed that the system has high precision for the recognition of musical notes (95%), a high usability score (80/100 according to SUS), and a predisposition that indicates that the system solves the deficiencies found in the traditional musical learning methodology.
