Proceso editorial
Peer Review System
The journal subjects all articles to a double-blind peer review process, in which both authors and reviewers are unaware of each other's identity during the evaluation.
First phase - Editorial Evaluation: The Editor, in coordination with the Editorial Committee, verifies the article's suitability for the journal's objective and thematic scope. A general evaluation of the content quality is also conducted. Articles that do not pass this phase will be returned to the author without external review
Second Phase - External Peer Review: Articles that pass the first phase are sent to two external reviewers, specialists in the subject area of the work, who are not part of the Editorial Committee or the publishing entity. The reviewers issue their opinion using the Reviewer's Report form. The possible opinions are: (1) Accepted, (2) Requires minor revisions, (3) Requires major revisions, or (4) Rejected. Revisions and Final Decision: If the opinion recommends publication subject to revisions, the author must address the observations before publication is considered, which will be subject to the Editor's approval. In each case, the author will be informed of the decision made.
Publication Frequency
The journal is published semi-annually, covering the periods January-June and July-December. This does not preclude the possibility of early publication of articles that are already ready, within the framework of the continuous publication practice.
Review and Publication Fees
The journal does not require authors to pay any amount for the review and publication of their articles
Maximum Decision Time
The journal commits to making a final decision on the publication of articles within no more than 6 months from the submission date.
Article Processing Fees
The journal does not charge authors any fees at any stage of the editorial process
