About the Journal
Objective
Growth and Development is a biannual, open-access academic journal whose primary objective is to disseminate original research in the field of economics. The journal promotes the dissemination of original research with academic and social relevance. Furthermore, it adheres to the principles of open science, actively fostering practices of transparency, reproducibility, and knowledge sharing.
Subject coverage
The journal focuses on economic research at both theoretical and empirical levels, whether qualitative or quantitative, micro or macro, retrospective or prospective. While not excluding other types of studies, priority is given to those focused on issues related to the growth and development of Latin American countries.
Audience
The journal is aimed at researchers, teachers, students, professionals and policymakers interested in the topics of economic sciences and economic development in general.

The journal provides open and free access to all its content to promote the global and free exchange of knowledge. Articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY 4.0) license. In accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative, readers may use and reuse articles without financial, legal, or technical restrictions for any lawful purpose, as per the license.
Digital preservation policy
The content of the magazine is stored on the servers of the University of Lima, where periodic backups are made to keep the content safe.
