Compliance without borders: the compass of international trade

International trade has evolved continuously, the constant changes have not only presented great opportunities, but also potential risks that represent a danger, which if not treated with due responsibility can cause terrible consequences in the national and global framework, that is why the presence of compliance in global trade is important, since it guarantees transparency and security in operations. the role of compliance in international trade and the need for a comprehensive system that covers all sectors of trade is analyzed. In addition, the consequences of ignoring compliance are illustrated through emblematic cases such as the Southern Interoceanic Highway and the Beirut catastrophe.
