Spiritual intelligence in the face of euthanasia and its attack on the sacredness of life

This article briefly analyzes euthanasia and how its application has ceased to be exclusively for terminally ill patients. Likewise, it profoundly reflects on the development, principles, and imperfections that palliative care (PC) can present. Since the advance and practice of CP reinforce the idea that it is not enough to heal only the subjects’ physical pain but that they deserve to be healed both physically and spiritually, the article proposes spiritual intelligence (SI) as a means of connection with the higher being and respect for the sacredness of life, which is considered by bioethics as the ethics of life. To this end, the article will seek to demonstrate that SI is the most important method and is a response to issues such as euthanasia.
