Assessment on arbitration: 25 years after its institution

This article explains the evolution of arbitration law in Peru and identifies its sources. The author describes the treatment, characteristics, and types of arbitration regulated to date and offers an evaluation of the current problems and advances this method of dispute resolution has had in the twenty-five years since the entry into force of the current regulation, that is, Legislative Decree 1071.
