Identificación y análisis de estrategias de resiliencia del sector retail frente a disrupciones en la cadena de suministro

Resumen

Frente a la creciente problemática sobre disrupciones que afectan a la cadena de suministro de empresas alrededor del mundo, el presente artículo busca brindar un aporte teórico basado en la recopilación de estrategias de resiliencia que las enfrenta y de los conceptos que ello conlleva, tales como la capacidad proactiva, reactiva y restaurativa. Además, se realizó una revisión profunda de la literatura de la clasificación de los conceptos relevantes encontrados y la validación y discusión de la mano de expertos de un sector poco abarcado previamente: el retail en el Perú. Además, se identificaron las principales estrategias de resiliencia en diferentes cadenas de suministros a nivel global que podrían aplicarse al sector anteriormente mencionado. A estas se las agrupó en dieciséis macroestrategias propuestas, frente a ocho grandes disrupciones, y se aplicaron en tres fases de resiliencia (preparación, respuesta y recuperación). Se espera que los resultados sirvan de guía para pequeñas, medianas o grandes empresas frente a futuros acontecimientos locales o globales que puedan afectar su cadena de suministro.

Gonzalo Alfredo Peña Tipian, Universidad de Lima, Facultad de Ingeniería, Lima, Perú

Bachiller en Ingeniería Industrial por la Universidad de Lima. Durante el 2022, ha trabajado en el área de supply como supervisor de operaciones del sector retail en las tiendas por departamento Ripley Perú. Desde el 2023, trabaja en el área de logística para productos de moda en Puma, importante empresa global, donde actualmente se desempeña como analista de logística.

Bachiller en Ingeniería Industrial por la Universidad de Lima con mención en Sistemas de Calidad. Es profesional sénior bilingüe con amplia experiencia en educación universitaria, tanto en gestión como en docencia, y lidera el área de modelación para la toma de decisiones en la carrera de Ingeniería Industrial de la Universidad de Lima.
