Regarding the legal registration of technological movable assets (comprised of hardware and software)

The third and fourth industrial revolution brought with it complex technological movable property, these represent a very considerable economic value, sometimes exceeding in economic value real estate or registrable movable property, this because they have complex technology in their physical construction (hardware) and functional construction (software). Unfortunately, our Civil Code did not expressly regulate these assets, however, fortunately article 2009 of the Civil Code and literal e) of article 2 of Law 26366, respectively, leave the window open for other new records to be created and regulated. At present, these assets cannot be registered in the Public Registries, thus making it impossible to access greater attributes of the registered property.
