Abstract

This article aims at approaching the reality of advertising in Peru by the so-called celebrities or influencers. At first, such activity would be disguised as a recommendation or personal opinion; however, when analyzed under the criteria of the Law of Repression of Unfair Competition, it can be concluded that advertising in Peru has a concurrent purpose in the market and, therefore, is liable to be sanctioned.
