Estilos de enseñanza de profesores de danza urbana en Lima Metropolitana

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar los estilos de enseñanza empleados por docentes de danza urbana de Lima Metropolitana. Para ello, se empleó el modelo circunflejo de Aelterman et al. (2019), el cual propone cuatro estilos: apoyo a la autonomía, estructura, control y caos; y ocho subestilos respectivos, dos por cada estilo: participativo, adaptativo, orientador, clarificador, demandante, dominante, abandonador y expectante Como método, se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas a tres docentes y doce estudiantes (cuatro por docente) al igual que observaciones semiestructuradas de la clase de cada profesor. En los resultados se identificó que los distintos estilos de enseñanza desplegados por los participantes surgen en distintas situaciones de enseñanza dentro de la clase de danza urbana. Dichas situaciones pueden ser clasificadas dentro de los tres momentos grandes de la clase: inicio, desarrollo y cierre de la clase. A partir de ello, se encontró que los docentes de la danza urbana emplean de forma predominante los estilos de estructura y de control al enseñar su clase. En ese sentido, sería de importancia dentro del ámbito de danza urbana incentivar que los docentes empleen con mayor frecuencia los subestilos correspondientes al apoyo a la autonomía, en lugar de aquellos pertenecientes al estilo de control.
