Psicología de la actividad moral: propuesta integradora de principios e implementaciones en contextos socioculturales

La psicología moral se ha centrado históricamente en procesos cognitivo-racionales e intuitivo-emocionales cuya explicación difícilmente puede integrarse, por lo que ha conformado una perspectiva fragmentada en el estudio de la aplicación conductual de principios morales. En ese sentido, el presente trabajo propone la teoría de la actividad moral (TAM) como un marco integrador, tanto de los procesos conocidos en una única conceptualización y estructuración de los niveles de actividad moral, como de los principios morales con sus aplicaciones prácticas en contextos socioculturales particulares a través del concepto de implementaciones morales. Asimismo, se discuten las posibles aportaciones de la TAM a la psicología moral en Latinoamérica y su potencial para integrar los conocimientos existentes en investigaciones e iniciativas institucionales de la región. Se invita a la comunidad científica a aplicar la presente propuesta teórica en estudios empíricos, de tal manera que se evalúe su contribución científica al estudio de la naturaleza psicológica de la moralidad.
