Abstract

This article explores the main aspects of financial and securities market regulation, as well as its impact on financial informality, which has a counterpart in financial inclusion. Through the exposition of recent cases, it is shown how the Superintendence of Banking, Insurance and AFP,  and the Superintendence of the Securities Market repress informal financial schemes that capture resources from third parties, affecting the public interest and confidence in the financial system.
